ABOUT WILLIAM
Bill is a Founding Partner of Auric Capital Partners and a 25-year industry veteran. He co-founded the firm in 2022 alongside his long-time partners, bringing with him a career at Merrill Lynch that began in 1997, where he grew into a Financial Advisor and eventual co-team leader of McKelvy Schellenberg & Associates. His first role in the industry was as a compliance officer at Coastline Financial.
A Texas native, Bill earned a B.S. in Business Administration with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses. Outside of his advisory work, Bill has served as a volunteer caddie in six U.S. Amateur Golf Championships and three U.S. Open Golf Championships, a unique distinction that speaks to both his love of the game and his commitment to showing up for others.
Bill's financial philosophy is simple: slow and steady wins the race. He believes deeply in the power of long-term thinking and consistent process, values he brings to every client relationship.
Bill and his wife Zoe are proud parents of a son and daughter. He volunteers on the Board of Directors at Mission Viejo Country Club and supports several charitable causes throughout the year. In his free time, he enjoys golf, traveling to destinations like Italy, Spain, and Portugal, and spending time with family.
